Harris Leads Pistons to Dominant Win Over Timberwolves, Strengthening East’s Top Seed Grip
The Detroit Pistons delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 109–87 to solidify their hold on the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Tobias Harris led the way with 18 points, powering a balanced offensive effort as multiple Pistons players contributed across the board. Detroit controlled the game from the second half onward, using strong defense and efficient shooting to pull away.
The Timberwolves struggled offensively, shooting just 32% from the field and 21% from three-point range, making it difficult to keep pace. Despite a 22-point outing from Donte DiVincenzo and a double-double from Rudy Gobert, Minnesota couldn’t recover from its cold shooting and injury setbacks.
With the win, Detroit continues its strong run late in the season, while Minnesota looks to regroup as the playoff race intensifies.
